A visit to Lake Havasu City during President’s Weekend is not complete without experiencing Western Pyrotechnic Association’s and Lake Havasu City’s remarkable showcase. New memories with family and friends will be created as the clear desert sky morphs into a spectacular kaleidoscope of colors in honor of the 34th anniversary of Winter Blast, an event that promises to overwhelm thousands of visitors from around the world with the biggest fireworks display in WPA’s and Lake Havasu City’s history.
This year, Thursday’s display is expected to be minimal and Saturday’s display is planned to be the most robust. However, the Sunday display could be exceptional if weather or other unforeseen events impacted the displays on previous nights (as all remaining fireworks must be discharged on Sunday).
