Walk Away From Drugs At London Bridge Beach

The Walk Away from Drugs is back in Lake Havasu. This event is to show support to those struggling with mental illness and/or recovering from substance abuse. All community members are invited to join us for our annual WAFD to support a drug free community!
The walk begins in the upper parking lot of the London Bridge Resort. Participants will begin lining up at 4:45pm and the walk will officially begin at 5pm.
Participants will walk over the London Bridge and down into London Bridge Beach. The walk is less than a mile. After participants complete the walk, Mayor Cal Sheehy will present the Proclamation at 5:30pm on the big stage at London Bridge Beach. There will be guest speakers and participants can then enjoy free tacos, beverages, and lots of resource booths from community organizations.
