The Big 6 Round 5 Grand Prix Racing Series in Lake Havasu
Big 6 Round 5 was happening at the Lake Havasu Island MX Park for an exhilarating weekend of motocross racing. Engines were revving at the starting line and what followed was an awesome course to ride and watch. The track was quite visible for the bystanders watching their favorite riders take twists and turns and fly off insane jumps. This event is a closed course event that included both natural and graded terrain where parts of the course are run on natural and desert terrain. The length of the course is between five and eight miles and each race is 45 to 55 minutes in duration. The unclassified races are normally ridden so the riders are able to review the course in advance. Many of the riders do race in multiple classes. Grand Prix races are very family friendly with many vendors and plenty of good spectating. It was a blast watching the riders and, of course, the weather was incredibly beautiful in Lake Havasu over the weekend.
