The band plays a wide variety of rock, classic rock and a few classic country songs. The focus is on the audience being able to dance to the songs. We have fun and keep the audience entertained. The band is entirely self-sufficient, having our own sound system, lights, etc.
Rich Navarette, guitarist and vocalist, was born in California, and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1999. By age sixteen Rich was performing with various groups at clubs, weddings and private parties. Rich sings lead on numerous selections and plays lead and rhythm guitar, and also serves as leader of the group.
Andrew Clair, keyboardist and vocalist, is a native of Iowa, and has a degree in music from Iowa State University. In addition to playing keyboard in the Top Shelf Band, he also teaches music in the Parker Unified School District. Andrew sings lead in several of the band’s selection.
John Livengood; drummer and vocalist, was born in Chicago and has fifty years experience as a professional musician. He played in his first professional band at age sixteen, and has played in several prominent Chicago-area bands, touring extensively throughout the USA and Canada. He then relocated to Las Vegas, where he continued his career as a professional musician. John, a graduate of Southern Utah University, has a degree in English and History and currently resides in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Ric Zakoor, bass, is a also seasoned professional musician with decades of experience playing bass and guitar. Originally from California, Ric has played across much of the USA. He recently relocated from the Phoenix area and now lives in Lake Havasu City.
