SUMMARY:Swim Race Across Bridgewater Channel in Lake Havasu
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an evening of entertainment as The Festival of Lights kicks off when the London Bridge Resort  hosts a swim race across the Bridgewater Channel. Free to enter and open to swimmers of all ages — residents and visitors compete for the fastest time and the honor of flipping the switch to turn on the Festival of Lights of the English Village . \nThe swim course will move a little south for the first time this year and take place in the Channel on the side of the London Bridge nearest to the London Bridge Resort! \nRegistration for the race takes place at 5pm on Nov 24 at the docks of the Heat Hotel\, located directly across the channel from London Bridge Resort. It is free to register. The swim will then finish at the docks by the Dixie Bell\, on the London Bridge Resort-side of the Channel. The swim race scheduled from 6-6:30pm with the Festival of Lights to commence immediately after. The first place swimmer will receive $250\, the second place will receive $100 and the third place will receive $50. \nCome out and brave the Bridgewater Channel! \nEvent dates and times are subject to change.
